Melting Crucible Furnace

Melting crucible furnace is for non-ferrous metals – lead.
The furnace body is cylindrical. Welded steel – structural steel and plate. Strong. Handles thermal expansion without warping. The welding is full seam, so it's airtight. No leaks.
Inside the chamber, we use first grade high-alumina bauxite refractory bricks. High bonding refractory mortar. That combination stands up to the heat and lasts.
Combustion System
The burner is a decent brand – nothing too exotic. We've used various makes over the years. Paired with natural gas. The system links the burner to the temperature controller. Real time adjustment. Keeps the temperature steady throughout the melt.
Crucible and Trolley
High temperature crucible – rated for whatever metal you're running. Lead-tin, aluminum, zinc. The trolley structure lets you move the crucible in and out. Quick changeover. Easy to swap crucibles or do maintenance.
Temperature Control
PID controller. You can program your process curves into it. Set it and forget it. Accuracy is plus or minus one degree C. That's good enough for most non-ferrous work. The metal temperature stays uniform.
