Product Definition
Quenching resistance furnace is an electric furnace – you heat the parts up to quenching temperature, then pull them out and dunk them in water, oil, or polymer. The heating elements are resistance type. They give you steady, even heat. The goal is to make the metal harder, stronger, and more wear resistant.
Working Principle
You load your parts into the chamber. The elements bring the temperature up – usually somewhere between 800°C and 1200°C, depending on what steel you're running. You hold it there for a set soak time, long enough for the heat to get all the way through. Then you pull the parts out fast and drop them into the quench tank. That sudden temperature drop changes the internal structure. That's what gives you hardness.

- Even heating. The elements are laid out well. No hot spots, no cold corners. If the heat isn't uniform, your hardness won't be either. I've seen that more times than I can count.
