Annealing Resistance Furnace
Annealing resistance furnace is basic heat treatment equipment – nothing fancy, but you need it. You heat the parts up to a specific temperature, hold them there, then cool them down slowly. Usually you cool them right inside the furnace. The whole point is to soften the metal, get rid of internal stress, fix up the grain structure, and make the material easier to machine.
Danyang Dingfeng Industrial Furnace Co., Ltd. is one of the most reliable manufacturers and suppliers of annealing resistance furnace in China. If you're going to wholesale durable annealing resistance furnace made in China, welcome to get pricelist from our factory. All customized products are with high quality and low price.
Product Definition
Annealing resistance furnace is basic heat treatment equipment – nothing fancy, but you need it. You heat the parts up to a specific temperature, hold them there, then cool them down slowly. Usually you cool them right inside the furnace. The whole point is to soften the metal, get rid of internal stress, fix up the grain structure, and make the material easier to machine.

Working Principle
Two things matter here: resistance heating and temperature control. You run current through resistance wires – Fe-Cr-Al or nickel-chromium alloys usually – and they generate heat. That's Joule heating if you want the technical term. The heat transfers to the workpieces through the annealing resistance furnace chamber.
Compared to gas furnaces or induction, resistance gives you more even heating. We hold within plus or minus 5°C. That matters when you're working on precision parts that don't like temperature swings.

Features
- Even heating. The elements are laid out right. No hot spots. I've been in shops where the furnace had a 30°C difference from one side to the other – cheap elements, bad design. That doesn't happen with ours.
- Precise control. PID system holds temperature steady. No overshoot, no drift. If you're annealing tool steel, even 10°C can change the outcome.
- Saves power. Good insulation – fiber or high quality brick – keeps the heat in. Your electric bill doesn't blow up.
- Clean. No smoke, no ash, no combustion. If you're in a city or you care about air quality, electric is the way to go.
- Wide range. Works on ferrous and non-ferrous. Small precision parts up to big industrial components. We've built annealing resistance furnace for little shops and giant pit furnaces for steel mills.
- Flexible design. Box, hood, pit, trolley, continuous – we make them all.
Applications
Softening metals
Cold worked metals get hard and brittle. Spring steel, stainless steel – you work them, they fight back. Annealing softens them up so you can bend and stamp without cracking. I had a customer making automotive gear blanks. He was cracking 20% of his parts during machining. Added an anneal step. Cracks dropped to under 2%.
Stress relief
Welded and cast parts have residual stress. Heat them, soak them, the atoms rearrange. Stress comes out. No more warping or cracking later. Aerospace guys do this on titanium alloy parts. They don't mess around – if a part fails in service, people die.
Microstructure optimization.
Control the cooling rate right, and you can do spheroidizing annealing on high carbon steel. The carbides form into little spheres instead of sharp flakes. That changes everything – better machinability, better wear resistance. Tool steel makers love this.
