Working Principle
The heating elements are high power – resistance type. They bring the trolley resistance furnace up to 1200°C. Heat gets into the workpieces by radiation and convection. A 10 ton roll takes a while to soak through at that temperature, but the elements have the muscle.
The intelligent control system runs the whole cycle. Ramp up, soak, cool down. You can do annealing, normalizing, quenching, tempering. Whatever your roll needs. The goal is to fix the grain structure so you get good strength, hardness, and service life.
