Working Principle
The strip operates based on Joule heating (resistive heating). When an electric current flows through the high-resistance alloy strip, electrical energy is converted into thermal energy. Due to its flat and wide shape, the heating strip offers a larger surface area compared to a round wire of the same mass. This allows for a lower surface load (watt density), resulting in more uniform radiation, better heat transfer efficiency, and a longer service life. The wavy shape also accommodates thermal expansion and contraction during heating and cooling cycles.
