Working Principle

 

During tempering, the fan runs continuously. It pulls air from the chamber, pushes it across the heating elements, and blows it around the workpieces. Forced convection. No stagnant zones.

 

The fan runs hot – really hot. The motor sits outside the furnace, connected by a long shaft. The shaft goes through the furnace wall. Seals keep the heat from leaking out.
