Working Principle
Here's how it works. You put your material inside a sealed inner cover. That inner cover has a protective atmosphere – hydrogen or nitrogen, something to keep the oxygen out. Then you lower the heating hood over the whole thing. The hood heats up – electric, gas, or oil fired – and you follow your process curve. Heat, hold, cool. If you're doing bright annealing, the protective atmosphere keeps the surface clean.

- Energy efficient. A common setup is one base with two bells – a heating bell and a cooling bell. While the heating bell is doing its job on one load, the cooling bell is cooling another. You recover heat and save energy. Less waste.
- Even temperature. There's a high temperature circulation fan inside the inner cover. That fan moves the hot air around. Even through a tightly stacked pile of coils, the temperature stays consistent. Without the fan, you'd have hot spots and cold spots.
- Flexible operation. The bells move. You can share them across multiple bases. So if you have several bases, you move the heating bell from one to the next. Good for production scheduling.
- Safe. The heating elements are in the bell, separate from the workpiece chamber. Less chance of contamination. Safer for the operators.
- Low maintenance. The mechanical structure is simple and robust. No fancy moving parts. The modular design makes repairs easier.
